Sediment Diagenesis Model Framework

PNNL completed the development of a linkage code which runs CE-QUAL-ICM kinetics over an FVCOM unstructured grid framework using a previously computed hydrodynamic solution. In its present state this code (FVCON-ICM) includes the basic biogeochemical model with 32 constituents. Modules such as submerged aquatic vegetation (SAV) and sediment diagenesis are available in the original CE-QUAL-ICM but have not yet been incorporated into the FVCOM-ICM code. As part of continuing model development work from 2013 through 2015, we plan to revise the FVCOM-ICM code to incorporate sediment diagenesis subroutines.
